I really lost 7lbs in 3 days!

Yes. I lost 7lbs in 3 days.


I have been a vegetarian for about ten years. With that being said, your girls loves Oreos and Reeses! So because I refuse to live in a world without an Oreo or 6, I have to find ways to balance my diet. Which is why I started juicing. With very little research, I decided to do a 3 day juicing challenge. Why you ask? I have no clue what prompted this! But boy am I glad I did! Here's the recipe I followed:

  • Handful of fresh spinach

  • 4 lemons

  • Small clove of ginger

  • 6 green apples

  • with each glass, I added a tablespoon of flax seed

This recipe made me about two mason jars full of juice. Here's the schedule I followed:

  • 6am - glass of water

  • 8am - black coffee

  • 10am - glass of juice

  • 12pm - glass of water

  • 2pm - glass of juice

  • 4pm - glass of water

  • 7pm - glass of juice

I followed this schedule for three days. And by the end of the third day, I was 7lbs thinner. I know what you're thinking, you could never! Honestly, it felt like a mental challenge more than a hunger challenge. I would tell myself, you can eat in 1 hr. and when that hour came, I'd repeat it. Day 2 I had less cravings. And by day 3 it was even less.


Would I do this again? Absolutely. But I would have more juice during the day and switch up the recipe!
